One would think that Mike Ford got enough of the ocean while he was in the Navy. 'Taint so, however, for he and his family spent their vacation at Myrtle Beach. Naturally, Randy York spent his vacation touring Burlington with Windy. Harold Black decided he liked stay ing at home better than getting another sunburn. Marie Mabe spent her vacation at Guilford Dairy dipping ice cream for "Frosty. " Mike Conrad couldn't leave the Pointer Drive-In. So, he spent his time there and touring other points of interest. Richard Wilson and his girl friend enjoyed a day-long outing during vaca tion. Jenny and Dewey Coggins were at Valley Forge, Pa. , and Washington, D. C. , visiting Jenny's brother. Jerry Thompson spent his vacation at Winn-Dixie Store. Order Department Evelyn Cox and her family visited Long Beach during vacation week. Ina Cole and family spent the week visiting Cherry Grove, Crescent and Myrtle Beaches. Kathy Hicks and family spent some time visiting relatives in Heflin, Ala. Elizabeth Skeen toured Linville Caverns and Boone. Carolyn King and family visited relatives in Loris, S. C., Logwood, N. C., and Washington, D. C. While in Washington, they visited the late President Kennedy's Grave in Arling ton Cemetery. Plant #9: Nancy and Junior Hankins spent their vacation at Sylva, N. C. , where they visited Ghost Town. Glenda and Bruce Burns enjoyed their vacation at Yaupon Beach. Jack Johnson visited his mother at Myrtle Beach and did a lot of loafing. David Stephens toured Virginia, spending some time at Williamsburg. Howard Wagoner spent a few days at High Rock. Rachel Cranford and her family camped at Myrtle Beach. Artie Lambeth and his family took their tent and went to the Outer Banks. Judy and Thurman White visited at Fort Bragg, N. C. Margaret Morgan and her family went to Virginia Beach for their vaca tion. Carol Jones could be found just loafing in her back yard and enjoying it a great deal. Alta Murphy and her family went to Booneville to spend a few days with her father. Fred and Evelyn Yates stopped by the main office and sales room on their July visit to their native state of North Carolina. They are in charge of the warehouse in San Fernando, California. SAFE!
