TEXELASTIC PROMOTES GAHAGAN AND STOGNER Miller, Clark and West Promoted To Supervisors Gohagan Stogner George Gahagan, former plant superin tendent of TexElastic's Raeford plant, assumed responsibilities in July as plant manager of the High Point elastic yarn plant. Replacing George as plant superintendent at Raeford is Horace Stogner. George came from Burlington Industries in 1971 as plant industrial engineer and held that position until promoted to plant superintendent of the Raeford plant. He has bought a house in High Point and just recently moved his family, wife Carol and children Eddie and Stacy, to their new home. Horace was employed by Uniroyal as shipping supervisor when TexElastic acquired their Raeford elastic yarn operation in 1969. Until his promotion to plant superintendent in July, he had been in charge of production and scheduling. He lives in Raeford with his wife, Betty, who is also employed in the office of TexElastic. They have two sons, both of whom are married. Ballard Succeeds Stogner Mike Ballard has been named to assume the duties of Horace Stogner as Production/ Scheduling/Warehous - ing Manager. Born in Ohio, Mike moved with his family to North Carolina when he was very young. He is a graduate of Guil ford College and comes to TexElastic from Regal Manufacturing Company. Mike, his wife (Emmetta) and son (Mike) now reside in Raeford. In his spare time, Mike enjoys golfing and fishing. Miller West Clark Myrl Miller, Edward Clark and Glenn West have been promoted to assistant plant supervi sors in TexElastic's yarn plant in Raeford. Myrl Miller, who has become assistant plant supervisor on first shift, came with the company in 1969 as a machine fixer and worked in the maintenance department before his recent pro motion. He, his wife (Shirley) and three sons (Johnny, Glenn and Leon) live on Dudley Street in Raeford. Glenn West, a former TexElastic employee> returned to the company in May of this year as a machine cleaner. He will assist the third- shift plant supervisor. He and his wife, Delores, live on Route 1, Raeford. Edward ("Bud") Clark is serving as assist ant second-shift plant supervisor. He has been a fixer for TexElastic since 1971.
