PHOTO: BRANDT PATE Grandfather By Briana Grier, AHS Student As an infant I was so afraid of you. I'd cty and bawl in your arms. All of this is true. But my love and security for you grew. The older I became The more I clung To those big, strong arms That protect me from harm. With muddy knees Your little boy I tried to be. But a girl I was And with that, You were okay. You promised I'd always be Your littte girl each day. Grandfather, I am a woman now. A little girl no more. I can only wonder What my futrue has in store. So your words For granted I will not take. A bright future I will make. So these words I dedicate to you. My own little way of saying Thank you. The students gained hands-on artistic experience and practice speaking in front of the class. The students were also informed about other career fields. Display mobiles on the third floor of Dogwood were created by Bill Shultz, Aviation System Technology; Lisa Pate, English Education; Cleo Trigones, Early Childhood.
