FAC is the student group respon sible for carrying out the fall and spring orientation programs for new students. Applications must be filled out and returned into the Counsel ing Office by March 1, 1977. Selections will be made and students notified after Spring Break. The Guilfordian T ree-in-a-T riangle BY ROB BAILEY The logo that is presently being used by the Eliott Good Campaign is the result in keep ing with the essential beliefs held by this ticket. When our original ticket was put together the distinct impression was that the senate Executive council must work as a deliberative body to achieve results in the Community Senate. For us this created a mental picture of a triangle. Under effec tive organization the executive council members might work as a triumvirate and a delib erative body. It is an idea new to serious consideration by the executive council and one that many former members of the executive council and present members of the Senate feel is a real and valid possibility. While we were visiting the dorms and talking ot various members of the campus this past week, one of the state ments that frequently arose was a call for some change. But further, and equally as valuable, the students are concerned about making this change within Quaker traditions. Our representation of these two ideas is included in the triangle-shaped sign "Delta," used in science as a symbol for change and the tree inside the triangle. The deep-rooted tree is similar to that used by the Development Office of Guilford College. It is our hope that his tree can come to represent student structured change within the traditions of the school.
