PUPILS AID CANADIANS
HARVEST TO&^CO CROP
Canadian tobacco
growers employed four
high school students,
\Vanda Murray, Billy
Murray, Pete Stone,
and Ivan Donton, to
aid in the housing of
tobacco this summer.
Impressions received
by these students were
that the Canadians ai'‘o
far more conservative
than v;e and that the
v/eather is variable,
changing from hot, to
cold, to rain on turn.
Similar to our ov;n
amusements wore the
movies and skating
rinks, but horse breed
ing and racing at
tracts more interest
than in North Carolina.
