THIRD and FOURTH GRADES SPRINGTIIE I love the springtime, so happy and gay. Cold winter is gone, And children can run and play. Pretty flowers bloom to brighten the day. Dianne Tapp lith Grade SPRINGTIME 1*11 be so happy to see the spring. When all the little birds begin to sing, And when the flowers begin to grow. And the birds hop to and fro. Then I'll know spring is really here. Shirley Williams iith Grade THIRD GRADE HIGHLIGHTS The third grade wishes to thank their grade mothers for all of the nice things they have done this year. We certainly have enjoyed the goldfish that were given to us. The grade mothers have celebrated every holiday by giving us parties. The third grade had a good time getting up the P. T. A. program with Miss Harper's and Miss Robin son's rooms. We felt real ly grown up working along with the sixth and seventh grades. There have been many changes in the third grade since the opening of school. We have lost seve- FIRST AND SECOND GRADE HAS CHRISTMAS PARTY Mrs. Creech, Mrs. Murray, and Mrs. Pace visited the class on December 22,1950. The pupils told the Christmas story and re cited some verses from the Bible appropriate for Christmas. The grade mothers served fruit, popcorn balls, and choclate fudge. The pupils received a little gift from their teacher. All had a good time and appreciate the thoughtful ness of the grade mothers. ral of our classmates, but have gained new students that have made fine play mates too. FIRST and SECOND GRADES
