BAILEY BUGLE,BAILEY, N. C.. FFA. Boys Continue Year's Activity F. F. A. boys with initi ation behind them have gone ahead vfith their other activities of soft ball, volley ball, and the annual trip to the State Fair. The annual initiation of Green Hands into the F, F, A. organization v;as held this month in'the agricul ture building, T\venty~one boys were brought into the chapiEr by the proper ceremonies. After the initiation the nev; members were treated to a v/einer roast by their upper classmen. GMffi PLAYED The Bailey Chapter lost to the Red Oak Chapter'by a score of eleven to two in their second soft ball clasli of the year. King led the Rod Oak team in batting vfith four hits for four trips to the bat, Bailey's two runn Aiere made in the sixth inning. The Bailey Chapter walked off with the vanning title in both the soft and vol ley ball games played in Legget. In softball Eldred Perry led the local chapter in batting with two for two; and Theron Sanders was second with two for three. The volley ball game was •v.'on in a best-two-out-of- three contest.
