Kermit Lewis Ic Ppply For School LUwk Wanting to bo a part of the school which hor boys attended led Mrs. Kermit Lewis to apply for the lunchroom suporvisor’s po sition eight years ago. vSome of the things she likes to do best are to watch the childron smilo if they enjoy the food, to see the students’ determi nation as they go by, to observe their interests and cooperation, and to re flect upon their different personalities. "Ever''''day is a new experi ence for those v/ho work with children," says Mrs, Lewis. "Understanding, love, and appreciation must be in a person before he or she can have pa tience with children," she further commented. "I have learned by Gxperi.- ence," says Ifrs. Lewis, "to think tvrice before say ing anything. When you hear a remark, never re peat it," Mrs, Lewis admits that the students* love and ap preciation is half of her lif e.
