Bailey is in the race for
$1,000 offered to towns
with 1,000 or less popula
tion. Carolina Power and
Light Company is launching
this campaign to build a
"Finer Carolina".
The purpose of this cam
paign, according to the
Cora^pany, is "to improve
the economy of a community
anu develop coiTimunity
pride".
The general chairman is
