Mrs. Rudolph Glover will spend most of the summer in her cottage at Pamlico Beach, North Carolina. Coach L. E. Pittman will be in Greenville working on his II. A, Miss Frances Owens hopes to attend East Carolina College also. Mrs. M. Weaver and Mrs. L. T. Lassiter will also be going to summer school. ?irs. Howard Farmer plans to attend the English In stitute at Duke and Caro lina . Jackie Lamm looks forward to a ten-day trip to Flor- dia, while C. D. Mullen enters the I:erchant . Poems vrere illustrated in such a way that the class could see, hear, and remem ber them. Dra^vings, making posters, and showing pictures vrere some of the ways that the students chose to illus trate their poems. Among the best presented were those by Vivian Glov er, Jimn^r Harris, Rayford Perry, Betty Lou Glover, and Tanya Glover. To test their readiness in learning, fitness or suitability for a Job, and their natural disposition was the purpose of the aptitude test given to the seniors April 9. The test began at approx- imately nine o'clock and lasted into the afternoon hours.
