Seniors opened the first program with Rev, Ben Mus- ser of the Elm City Charge speaking to the school. For the ouniors, County Superintendent L.S, Inscoe gave his version of Brer Rabbit tales. Idalia Oglesby’s tenth grade presented a "Countl*y Store," Characters were Marshall High, storekeeper; Ecbby Dew and Edwin Finch, l'j?fers; Luvonder Peele, old maidj Patty Sue Thomp son, grumbling housewife; and Sliirley Williams, gig gling girl of eighteen. A quiz program v;as offer ed by Ben Wethenpton's tenth grade. If one an swered the question cor rectly he got a prize. Edith Farmer’s ninth grade boys presented a "Truth or Consequences" program, in which Mrs. Howard Farmer, Ben Weth- ington, M. W, Weaver, Fannie Lou Manning, Lamar Finch, Betty Lou Glover, Tanya Glover, Amy Lou Horton, Carroll Jones, Jerry Perry, and Wayne B, Finch took part. Frances Wilson with the ninth grade girls gave "Borrowing . Neighbors," in , which Catherine 'Vilhitley played the leading part as the neighbor from wham everyone borrowed. For Education Week, Rachel Bissette's seventh grade gave "In the Land of No Reading." Curtis Thig pen and A.J.
