Content—"Excellent cov erage of extra curricular Sr. Girls Seeking Work After Graduation Three senior girls have applied for secretarial work in Raleigh, according to Mrs, Laurine T, Lassi ter, comraercial teacher, Amy Lou Horton applied at First Citizens Bank and Wachovia; Patricia Dew, at Wachovia and Carolina Power and Light Company; and Eetty Lou Glovor, at Wachovia, All the girls brought home application blanks to be filled out later from the Revenue De partment and the state of fices in the Mansion Park Building. Mrs, Lassiter reports re ceiving a letter from Miss Blaclwell, the personnel as sistant of Wachovia,a couple of days after the girls had filed applica tions, asking for recom mendation. In t|his letter Miss Blackwell expressed a desire to interview any other girls interested in working at Wachovia that Mrs, Lassiter could recom mend.
