Compared with the past years, this number is the highest since 1953. Katherine Whitley, Nancy Medlin, and Jane Burgess intend to enter East Caro lina College in Greenville, while Elsie Eatmon and Sylvia Vick go to Atlantic Christian College in Wil son, Rex Vick is thinking in terms of Louisburg Col lege or N, C, State. 30 Children Report For Preschool Clinic Thirty out of the thirty- eight registered children reported for the annual preschool clinic at Bailey High School, March 29. "However", Principal M. W. Weaver states, "three are always more children enter ing the first grade than report for the vaccina tion." Next year's beginners were given either, or both, a diptheria and a smallpox vaccination. EXAMINATION As a part of the clinic, each child's lungs, heart, throat, nose, and ears were checked by Dr. J. S. Chamblee, who was in charge of the clinic. Those reporting for the clinic registered in Mrs. Hagwood's class room. The clinic was conducted in the elemnntary libi'ary.
