RECOf^EIDATIONS Scholastic li^gazines have recently raised some ques tions about college attend ance, Their recommenda tions are: 1. Start planning early— even as early as the eighth grade, 2. Take '’solid"‘ subjects— English, math, and science included. On© registrae says, ”Omit the frills" and take the subjects which ore- pare for college". 3. Patterson, prin- ciTDal of Mount Pleasant School, won the titles of Hallow5,en king and queen at Mount Pleasant this year. All the participantr col lected votes from people in the audionee and turned them in at the end of five minutes. Mrs, Privette and rinmnal Patterson '^sre, the winners, lirs, Privette was the leading lady with $2,79, and Principal Pat terson led the men with ^2,5ii.
