They made two touchdowns in the short time re maining before halftime. After the half Albemarle continued to give this “big-shot” team a rough time and ended the game behind by a few points. The final score was Albemarle 18 and Forest Hills 36. The players of the week were David Burris and David Livingston. Scoring for the Bull dogs were David Livingston, with two touchdowns, and Tony Underwood. Powder Puff Stuff By KELLY WATSON Contrary to the belief that the football season will soon be over, one of the most competitive ganies lies ahead. That is the Junior-Senior Powder Puff game on Thursday, November 5. The junior and senior girls will be go ing at it to prove whose class has the most talent. Last year’s game was an ex tremely exciting one. The juniors topped the seniors with a 20-6 vic tory. The girls were very happy and enjoyed themselves at their victory party, where they plan ned with great anticipation their next year’s strategy. It is nearing game time and all the girls are psyched up for the big contest of 1981. Both juniors and seniors have been working extremely hard to make this a very good game. The seniors are highly favored in this game, but no one knows what may happen. When asked for comment, Joe Thompson (Sweet T.), senior coach, replied, “I am very pleas ed with last year’s victory and we plan on having a repeat this year. I have a very talented team and they are working very hard.” Mack Morgan, junior coach, also feels that this will be a very com petitive game. As the time for the competition draws nearer, both spirit and emotions flare. However, these emotions will not subside until the final buzzer sounds and the best team leaves victorious!
