The Club, led by I^CA President Kelley Mllstead, also sponsored various community projects such as: the Governor Morehead School, Dorothea DIx, Glenwood Towers, and Project Hope at the Women's Prison. Kelley's- first real Involvement with MCA was her junior year when she served as Chair of Dorothea Dix sen/lce project. She had been Involved in MCA Service projects In previous years. She tt^n ran for the presidency her senior year. As thei President of MCA one of Kelley's chief responsibilities Is to reside over the Council meetings which are held on Thursday nights. For Kelley, this is an easy tasKasshe explains, "thecouncil Is so good that they make my job easier." She Is also to act as a mediator for the faculty and the students. Kelle/s interest In MCA; as well as b^ng a member of the Religion Club and serving as secretary of the Psychology Club, may easily be explained by her double major in Religion and Psycho logy. Upon graduating from Mer^ith, she is planning to enter Southern Semi nary, In Kentucky, this fall. She hopes to get a Masters of Divinity and is interested In Clinical Chaplancy. Aside from the Psychology Club and Religion Club, she is also a member of the Phis and the Sil ver Shields. Her Interests include photo graphy, playing golf, hiking, and being with her friends. Kelley sees MCA as a chance for stu dents to express their own faith and to develop their faith while at school. It also serves as an opportunity for them to grow and develop in their own Christian faith. In closing, she expresses her ap proval of the response to MCA so far this year, "Response has been great, worship attendance is real good and we have had phenomlnal response from Freshmen.
