In Arrangements At
A series of improvements involving
relocation of several departments at
the Central Warehouse has been sub
stantially completed. The purpose of
the changes was to obtain a better line
up of operations permitting the goods
to flow in a straight line through the
various warehousing processes. In ad
dition to relocating the departments,
there was a general rearrangement of
the various operations within the units.
The Blanket Packing Department was
moved from the second to the third
floor of Central Warehouse and placed
in line with the Blanket Open Stock
Storage. Operations within the Blanket
Packing Department were rearranged
for greater convenience.
The Print Shop was moved from the
second floor of the Warehouse to the
third floor of the Finishing Mill. Ticket

seems likely that a number of employ
ees will be entering military service.
In preparation for this, the Company
has set up procedures for maintaining
complete records on service men or
women and for keeping in touch with
those serving in the armed forces.
Men and women leaving the Com
pany to enter service are reminded it
will be to their own advantage to talk
with their mill personnel manager be
fore leaving. The personnel manager
will record information about years
with the Company, job status, parents
or dependents, home address, date of
entry into service, etc.

Club Saturday, August 19. The recrea
tional program will begin at 3:30 p. m.
Supper will be served at 6:00 p. m.
