Members of the Piedmont chapter. National Machine Accountants Association, tour the Fieldcrest Tabulating Department during a visit here. Machine Accountants Visit Tabulating Dept. T/Sgt. Aubrey M. Taylor is shown his wife, the former Miss Anna powder of Martinsville, Va. T/Sgt. ^ylor is stationed at Little Creek, Va. Where he is a logistical instructor in Naval Amphibious school. He entered the Marine Corps in and received his boot training Parris Island, S. C. He attended the S. Naval War College at Newport, •, and served in Korea in 1951-52 With the 1st Marine division. /WTuie attached to the 2nd Marine ivision, based at Camp Lejeune he oured Cuba, the Virgin Islands and a ^'Jrnber of other countries bordering the Caribbean Sea. Monday, December 24, Fieldcrest Mills was host to the mem bers of the Piedmont chapter, National Machine Accountants association Thursday afternoon and evening, No vember 29. The group toured the Karastan Rug Mill and went to the General Office to visit our Tabulating Dept., prior to their dinner meeting at Meadow Greens. Howard Pickard, head of the Tabu lating Dept., at Cone Mills Corp., Greensboro, president of the chapter, presided. C. F. Kelly, supervisor of our Tabulating Dept., welcomed the group to Fieldcrest. George Satterfield, of In ternational Business Machines, Greens boro, spoke and presented a film on computing equipment. The NMAA has 7800 members in its 112 chapters in the United States, Can ada, and Mexico. Mr. Kelly is a past president of the Star City chapter at Roanoke, and is a member of the boat'd of directors of the Piedmont chapter.
