Fieldcrest Employee Named Y's Man Of Year Robert L. Powell, instrument man at the Blanket and Sheeting mills, has been named “Y’s Man of the Year” by the Draper Y’s Men’s Club. The award was presented at a recent meeting of the club by Paul Setliff, of the Spray Cost Department, Draper Y’s Men’s president. Mr. Powell has been a member of the Y’s Men’s Club since 1942 and is a past president. He has long been ac tive in the Y. M. C. A. and has been a member of the board of directors for the past three years. Your Social Security — Questions And Answers Q. My husband died last month. How soon should a person contact their Social Security office to file a claim for benefits? A. Six weeks before retirement age, 62 for women, 65 for men, should give you a good start. Q. I have two different Social Security numbers. Am I supposed to have both of them? A. Absolutely not. Get in touch with your Social Security office right away, and take both numbers with you. Your wages may not be prop erly reported if you have more than one number. Q. I am nearing retirement age. I don’t have a birth certificate. What should I do? A. You could establish your age with any one of the following.
