MILLNER AMY LEIGH FULCHER PRESTON EUGENE TAYLOR FREIDA ROBERTSON TREDWAY SANDRA PROFFIT PELL Congratulations To New Graduatesl If you’ve noticed some Fieldcrest em ployees with their chests stuck out and their heads carried a little higher than usual, it was probably because they are the parents of the graduates shown on this page. In addition to this group of six, there are others, the Fieldcrest Scholarship recipients who graduated this year and who are shown elsewhere in the paper. Additional material on graduates will be carried in later issues. Mr. Millner is employed at the Karas- ton Rug Mill. For the past three summers Miss Millner has worked in the Bedspread Finishing and Sheet Finishing Mills. under the R.O.T.C. program. Amy Leigh Fulcher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Fulcher, received her B. S. S. A. from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Mrs. Fulcher, (Nancy) is employed in the Sheeting Mill Weave Room. John A. Sutliff, Jr. received a B.S. degree in business administration ma joring in economics at East Carolina University. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Sutliff of Eden. Mrs. Sutliff (Margaret) is a copyist in the Karastan Designing Department. Kathy C. Millner received her B. A. in social science from Bennett College, Greensboro. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Millard D. Millner of Eden. Preston Eugene Taylor received his B. A. degree in business administration from Elon College. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Taylor. Mr. Taylor im employed in the Sheeting Mill Weave Room and Mrs. Taylor (Mamie) works in the Burling Department at Karastan. The graduate was also commission ed a second lieutenant in the army on May 31 at the North Carolina Agri cultural and Technical State University after completing two years of training Mrs. Freida Robertson Tredway. * of Guerrant Tredway, received her * degree in mathematics from the '' versity of North Carolina at Gre® boro on May 31. Mr. Tredway is employed by Karastan Shop as a maintenance * chanic. Mrs. Tredway is the daughter of: and Mrs. Jim Robertson of Edeh'' Robertson is employed as grounds pervisor at Fieldcrest. Mrs. James E. Pell, the fo>’ Sandra Proffit, daughter of Mr. ‘ Mrs. Mallie A. Proffit, received master of education degree in guid^ counseling from the University of Carolina at Greensboro. Mrs. (Lois) is employed in the Blanket ^ Wool Spinning Department and ' Proffit is an assistant foreman ih Blanket Mill Weave Room. THE MILL WHIS'
