% A DR. JIM R. FUQUA Dr. Jim R. Fuqua Will Open Dental Practice Dr. Jim R. Fuqua, a former resident, is returning to Eden to establish his practice of dentistry. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alton G. Fuqua. Mr. Fuqua is a retiree of the Blanket Fin ishing Mill and his wife, Thelma, is an inspector at the Blanket Finishing Mill. Dr. Fuqua graduated from Duke Uni versity and the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry. He is pres ently completing his military service with the army at William Beaumont General Hospital in El Paso, Texas. Mrs. Fuqua is the former Joyce Young, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James D. Young. Virginia Diane Mills, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Mills, Jr., celebrates her sixth birthday today, July 13. Her mother, Evanna, is employed in the Data Process- i n g Department at Fieldcrest. Virginia Diane is the grand daughter of Bethel *■ (Specials) and Virginia King, and Leo (Blanket Mill Weave Room) and Iona Mills. Melinda Ore Melinda Lea Ore is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Ore. She is granddaugh ter of Tom Brame, foreman of the Blan ket Finishing Mill Plant Service Depart ment and also of Muriel Ore, a former employee of the Sheeting Mill. Martha Brame, of the Data Processing Depart ment, is an aunt.
