Serocke graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in June of this year. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Engineering. While at R.P.I., Chris was a member of the varsity football team. President of the American Institute of Industrial Engineers Ix)cal Student Chapter, Vice President of the R.P.I. Sigma- Chi P'raternity Chapter, Chairman of the executive Financial Board, Executive Vice President of the InterFraternity Council, and Chairman of the Fraternitv Judicial Board. In addition to these accom plishments, he graduated as a Dea.i’s List student. THE HOWARD NOWLIN FAMILY Five Complete40 Years Servici Five Fleldcrest employees completed 40 years of continuous service with the Company in recent weeks. They are Andrew Fuller, Blanket Greige Mill; Beulah H. Graham, Fieldale Towel Mill; Jesse B. Patterson, fieldale Towel Mill; Irene Tulloch, Bedspread Mill; and Eliza W. Voss, Sheet Finishing Mill. Each long-service employee has received the Fleldcrest diamond-and-gold 40-year emblem, a $40 gift certificate for Company merchandise and a letter of commendation from President William C. Battle. Andrew Fuller, a maintenance mechanic at the Blanket Greige Mill, began employment on August 10,1933, as a card feeder at the Blanket Greige Mill. He worked briefly at the Draper Sheeting Mill as a card feeder before going back to the Blanket Greige Mill as a finisher. From 1940 until 1942, he worked at the old Woolen Mill as a finisher tender and then a card fixer. He returned to the Blanket Greige Mill as a weigher in the Wool Carding Department in 1942. He worked in various classifications in the Wool Carding Department before becoming a maintenance mechanic in 1969. Beulah Graham, a towels JESSE B. PATTERSON IRENE C.
