General Office Tour Guides Are Selected For 1974-75 The General Offices Tour Guides for 1974 are Juanita Stewart, Mickey Overby, Ruth McLawhon, Joy Wade, Elaine Morgan and Judy Roach. Coordinator is Camille Perkins, associate editor of The Mill Whistle, who will also act as an alternate guide when necessary. The tour program has been in effect on an informal basis since 1958 when the new General Offices building on Stadium Drive was opened. The program was updated and formalized in 1967. The tours are offered each year to high school and college groups in the area, consisting mainly of business and secretarial students. The students are divided into small groups and given guided tours of the various departments in the General Offices. After the tour, they are treated to refreshments in the canteen followed by a short program, usually a talk by a General Offices employee. Several hundred students participate in the program each year. The tour is also a part of the clerical orientation program. The tour guides are chosen from General Offices clerical personnel.
