I ► c Cheryl F. Wilson Grant Recipient Alpha Psi Meets Alpha Psi Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society for Key Women teachers held its annual breakfast- bazaar meeting November 10 at the Palace Motel. Mrs. Charles Conway, president, presided and welcomed Mrs. Faith Halfyard as a transfer member from Sigma chapter in Kinston. A special guest of the day was our recruitment grand recepient, Mrs. Cheryl Fillingame Wilson, who receives a yearly grant of $300 from Alpha Psi. She is a student at East Carolina University and expressed her appreciation for the financial assistance in attaining her education. The annual bazaar is held to raise money for this grant, and any remaining monies go into Alpha Psi Scholarship Fund to assist a member who is pursuing her graduate degree. On behalf of Alpha Psi, Mrs. Conway accepted from Mrs. Ralph McCotter a counted cross stitch quilt square of Tryon Palace which will be used in the 60th anniversary quilt of Eta State. Senator Joe Thomas wes welcomed as a guest and on “Legislation Pertaining to Mrs. Conway reported on the Region II meeting held in Kin^n O^ber 16. Alpha Psi ws represented by Mrs. Conway, Mrs. W.T. Wilson, Mrs. Harold Anderson, Mrs. W.F. McCoy, Mrs. Charles Parker, Mrs. R J. Weigel, Mrs. O.L. Kirkman, Miss Sarah Alice Harris, and Mrs. Faith Halfyard. Hostesses for the meeting were Mrs. B.L. Sneeden, Chr., Mrs. Anderson, Mrs. H.A.
