FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATION (Continued from page 1) which put in place the Hawk Missile. The Hawk is a short to medium range weapon used to protect land bases against air attack. The Hawk was on display in the Bicentenial Park and Marines were on hand to explain its capabilities. The climax of festivities was the firework display. Bombs bursting in air gave proof that our flag still waves over the land of the free and the home of the brave. This was the theme througliout the country as communities throughout the nation had record crowds attending the celebration. Greenville had an estimated 12,000 people in attendance.
