Page 10, West Craven Highlights, December 6, 1984 HIGHLIGHTS Sports stretch & Exercise Classes The New Bern-Craven County YMCA will be conducting Stretch and Exercise Classes on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. The classes will be held at the River Bend Golf and Country Club. Eagles Pocketed 2nd Win The Eagles pocketed itheir 2nd win Friday night against the Jones Senior Trojans 87- 50 was the final score. The Eagles led the Trojans 29-23 at the half and gradually increased that lead to 53-33 by the end of the third quarter. The game was won through team effort.^ West Craven Coach Lorenzo Jones used his bench, everyone got a chance to play. While on the otherhand the Trojans played on a one man effort, Rodney Davis who poured in 20 points to lead the scorers on his team. Tim Cox was the highest scorer for the Eagles with 18 points, Jesse Campbell followed with 14 and Morris Jones chipped in 10. The highest scorer for Jones was Davis with 20 followed by Brimmage with 10. The West Craven Junior Varsity also pocketed it s second win with a score of 79- 56 against Jones Senior’s Trojans. Stevie Ngrris led the^ junior Eagles in double figt^ with 20 points. Eric Ras was second with 19 and Manley chipped in 12. The Junior Trojans had one player in double figures, Robert Hill with 20.
