WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE? They are visitors to our plant; but not ordinary visitors. They are students and graduate x-ray techni cians from North Carolina hospitals. Technical Representatives from our Marketing Department brought these customers and potential customers to see our plant and witness the com plex manufacturing steps required to produce a superior quality medical x-ray film. Their tours included a visit to the Casting, Coating, and Finishing Areas. Then a tour of the Control Laboratory and our x-ray facilities brought them to more familiar terri tory. Whenever time permitted, the tours included a trip to one of the waterfalls on the plant property. Our guests were from the Piedmont, and found the scenery as exciting and interesting as the process. I X-ray technicians from Forsythe Memorial Hospital in Winston-Salem scrutinize the banks of gauges and controls in the Casting Area where the “Cronar" film base is produced. They are: (I. to r.)
