Best wishes to you for a good year! Student Activity Fees Continued from Page 1 Salem city league sports, including basketball and softball. There are plans to begin other sports when the West Campus is complete. Part of your fees help send members of the Executive Council to the state con ferences to learn about student government procedures. This will enable them to serve the student body more effectively. Forsyth Tech, unlike most other community colleges, does not charge a graduation fee. Graduation expenses - caps and gowns, diplomas and covers, as well as, programs and in vitations - are paid for by your student activity fee. As you can see, graduation alone takes a big chunk out of the student activity budget. Finally, your student activity fee pays for this and all student publications. With so many opportunities for involvement, Student Government, activities, clubs, sports, and publications, you should look for your “niche” at Forsyth Tech, get involved, and help spend your student activity fee. The Student Activities office is located in room 6146 of Snyder Hall. 1983-84 Scholarship recipients. Standing L to R: Wade Tucker, Genny Robbs, Stephen Gregory.
