Miss Pat Aldridge left Monday for the University of North Caro lina where she is taking graduate work in the School of Social Work. Miss Aldridge graduated at the University in August. Student Teacher Mrs. Nancy Wilcox Ragan. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Demp ley Wilcox, 130 Oak Street, Boone, Is now doing student teaching at West Mecklenburg High School. Nancy is taking part during this tall quarter in the teacher train ing program of Appalachian State Teachers College, Boone. During the senior year each student de votes a quarter (approximately 12 weeks) to student teaching in the field for which the student has been preparing.
