Here are some simple, yet pertinent, questions and answers posed to onself: . (1) Why am I purchasing auto liability ihsurance? (Answer) To take care of What happens wh en something happens for which I am liable. (2) Should I purchase the cheapest policy that I can get? (Answer) No. If I get hurt I don't want a "cut-rate" doctor. If my car is damaged, I don't want a "cut-rate" mechanic. If I'm sued, I don't wan't a "cut-rate" lawyer, so how could ! buy a "cut-rate potky" and expect to receive first rate service? (S) Should I purchase my protection through a local independent agent who is committed to represent me and who represents several companies, or purchase it from an agent who represents only one Company? (Answer) The answer is obvious! I can't expect an agent who works Aitl time for one company to risk his job by bucking his company to defend me. (4) Shouldn't I take advantage of the savings afforded me by insuring with a company which Issues only preferred risks? ydhjgjfe 4 ;f (Answer) Except for a temporary period there is no such person as a "preferred risk." Every human being falls out of the category of "preferred risks" sooner or later, either through advanced age, declining health, change of occupation, minor children, ail fanfortunate accident or numerous other causes. ! The very occurrence which I am paying my premium for is the very thing which would cause me to no longer be a preferred risk. If I get old or get rick, I expect my company to stand by me. If my boy grows Up and wtftt to drive, I expect my company to provide protection if he is of good character. If I change my occupation or hate an unfortunate accident or occurrence, I don't want to bo summarily dismissed. (6) Then you feel that you do not want to buy a cheap "preferred risk" policy?
