(Sometimes before 9:00 A.M.) I went twice in one week to the Examiner’s office and was dismayed because of such a long line or the Examiner was busy doing paper work. I would like to propose a question. Why does Edenton only have one Examiner on the proposed days of examinations? I assumed a Bureaucrat could only answer my question. Potential license drivers are being forced to go to other licensing facilities that are at a greater distance. This inaverted travel causes more fuel consumption that is priced too high too quickly! The situation and the prices of fuels are matters to reconcile with. Wasteful uses won’t solve the problem of dissipating fuels. But, if another Examiner was hired or transfered to Edenton’s department during the superfluous months (June - August) of examinations, the line will dissipate and there won’t be so much pressure on one Examiner. Also, potential license drivers will not be forced to seek other licensing facilities and this act alone will probably save enough fuel for the Examiner’s trips NOWrrSEASEERIOKXNUS WHILE YOU’RE IN COLLEGE. Do you like the idea of earning an extra thousand dollars a year while you're going to college? It s even easier in Today's Aimy Reserve. Because in many units you can now split your Basic and skill training between two consecutive summers. So as not to con flict with your classes. Call your local Army Reserve Recruiter to see if you qualify. JLL / ry*s\ TA / 177 ( IHi Custom Piers Boathouses Seawalls Cottage Maintenance SAWYER & UNTON Marine Construction Co., Inc.
