Board To Hold Hearings

Carolina Board of
Agriculture will hold public
hearings on Friday, April 25
to consider amendments to
regulations promulgated by
the state Department of
Agriculture.
The first hearing,
beginning at 10 A.M. in the
board room of the
Agriculture Building in
Raleigh, will consider ex
tension of the provision to
permit half-pricing of motor
fuel on pumps not equipped
to register the over SI.OO
price. Set to expire on July
Ist, oil jobbers in the state
indicate equipment has not
been available to permit the
conversion and the deadline
cannot be met.

AWARDED TOP HONORS The State of North Carolina and Switzerland have been
awarded top honors in a worldwide survey of free printed tourism information, conducted
by Travel-Holiday Magazine and The Travel Advisor. It is the second year in a row that
