Letter To Editor
Dear Sir,
Rep. Margaret Stanley has
introduced House Bill 376, en
titled the Pet Protection Bill,
asking the General Assembly
to prohibit the sale or dona
tion of pound animals for
research or classroom
experimentation.
House Bill 376 will protect
North Carolina’s citizens
from having their lost pets
turned over for hideous ex
periments in research institu
tions. It will protect the
state’s abandoned animals
from a fate worse than death.
It will protect pet owners
from pet theft by ridding our
state of independent animal
dealers whose presence
creates a market for our pet
animals
e This bill, must have your
support in’order to become
.North Carolina law. Please
write ~ immediately to
Representative Margaret
Stanley,
Richard Wright and you* own
