C. at Cullowhee to participate In Senior Day Activities. With the touring of dormitories, recreation al swimming, a baseball game, and all the many other activities one hardly had a "breathing spell". It was centalnly a lot of fun. For some students, it was first visit to the college and for those who plan to attend W.C.T.C. next year, It was especially enthralling. JITNIOR-8ENIOR On May 11, Regal Hotel should be to the point of overflowing with the bllliowing evening dresses and many smart spring suits. The Junior Class is giving the Senior Class the Annual Banquet then and the theme will be Spring Ser enade. Everyone is excitedly look ing forward to this night of enter tainment. LATIN TEST All the Latin Students dreaded' the date of May 4. They took a final state examination on that day. Towever, if they had spent the year In working they shouldn't have had too hard a time. LATIN BANQUET The, Latin Club had a Roman Banquet on Saturday evening, May 8, in the home of Its sponsor, Mrs. Bruce Bristol. Members came dressed in cloth ing like that won in the time of ?Julius Caesar. , The menu consisted of dishes similar to those served in that day. ? , .? BETAS ELECT OFFICERS The Beta Club met last week and elected officers for the coming year. Ardith Hay is to be the new president. The other officers ^are: Jerry Pullium, Vlcepresident; Ja nice Watts' Secreaary; Carolyn West, Treasurer. Among the other activities of the Betss were the convention held in Ashevllle last week end and the scheduled meeting held at the home of Mr. Galushs Pullium last Tuesday night. -A CLUB The annual initiation of the Monogram Club was held Monday night. New members went through the "rituals" of becoming a mem ber of the club. The girls who were initiated were: Ruthie Almond, {Catherine Sursavage, Carole Dyer, Madge Barton, Janette Tatham, Vickery Derre berry, Janice Hog sed, Melva West. The boys are: Dwaln Winfrey, Gerald Curtis, Clarence Myers, Edward Lovin good, Bob Martin, Terry Postell, Harold Murphy, Olln Postell, Joe Jones, Steve Higdon. PILGRIM'S PROGRESS Last Wednesday In the weekly assembly the high school were for tunate enough to view an animated film of Pilgrims Progress. This proved to be helpful factor for the Seniors who just started studying John Bunyan.
