The state heart group now has compiled such a list which, It says, "speaks for itself as a Jiv ing example of the Heart Asso ciation's impressive contribution to the health of our community and nation." •sf The North Carolina Heart Assp ciation was founded IS years ago by 39 North Carolinians and, Ih the meantime, it has spawned a statewide network of 99 local Heart Associations with more than 85,000 volunteers. Some of the advances of the past 15 years that have resulted from research spon sored in whole or in part by the American and North Carolina- Heart Associations are listed be low.
