Central showed the Bulldogs why they were picked to finish as Southern Division cham pion as the Eagles destroyed Bowie 50-00 before "14,003 fans. Bowie fell to 2-4, 4-4. Many thought that it would be a close game. According to Bowie State coach John Organ, "I think that the enrivonment was their strong point," talking about the large crowd. "Our kids haven't seen this many people. We were awed in a way." After the first quarter, Bowie wasn't only awed by the crowd, they gain ed some more respect for freshman sensation Gerald Fraylon. Fraylon, the 8th leading scorer in the NCAA Division II, threw for tjiree touchdowns and . rn for another. He completed 8 of 16 passes for 157 yards. He now has 52 points on 8 touchdowns and four ex rtra points. , Notwithstanding the scoreless firsi quarter, Central weni lo work and struck for three se cond quarter touchdowns and a safe ty. Junior cornerback Allen Pierce set up the first Central score with a 41 yard punt return to the BSC 22.
