Slater, and step mother of the late W. A. Slater, who waa : in business in - this i city for a number of , years. She died at her home yesterday afternoon- 'The fun eral was conducted this afternoon at 2 o'clock and the burial was in the family grave-yard.: Rev. William 3. Olive conducted the funeral service.
