Amos Foster with Miss Min nie Arledge in charge of the pro gram. B. Lt Ballenger and F. P. Bacon are spending a few days at High Hampton. A daughter was born at St. Duke’s hospital this morning to Mt. and MVs. Frank Moore of Columbus. N. CAROLINA Our Tryon’s mountain tons I see the fleecy clouds They are like a shining fountain, Or fairies in gossamer shrouds; Dancing on the mountain Before the fairy music stops. Are there birds and deer uj> there, In the fresh Carolina air? Sometimes the clouds are dim and 'grey. I’d like to see them at break of day. When the sun begins to rise What a sight before my eyes, As the golden sun comes up Like molten gold in a cup, What a glorious sight to see And it is a thrill to me. When the thunder storms are raging. And the earth the rain is paging Then I think it is sublime Written on the page of time, Beyond the storm and fury And life’s stress and hurry, Bevond Tryon’s highest mountain, There we’ll find a woodsy glen.
