Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Brownlee have returned from a week’s va cation at MVrtle Beach. Robert Brigmon of Mill Spring had an operation this morning at St. Luke’s hospital. Paul Ringer, Jr., was host Sun day for a buffet supper party vhi'-h was given in celebration of the first wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Rogers, Jr., of Burnsville. Many members of the wedding party were present. Mrs. Rogers, Jr., is the former Miss Eleanor Rogers, whose wed ding last July 24 was an out standing event of the summer at Trinity Episcopal church. Last evening’s party took place at the home of the hosts’ narents, Dr. and Mrs. Paul Ringer, of 237 Pear son drive.
