C. 859-6051 Tryon Little Theater The annual meeting of the Tryon Little Theater was held June 2nd at The Hearthstone Inn. President John (Jack) Kendall presided and nominations for the three new Board of Directors were unanimously approved. The new board members are Mrs. Malcolm (Jessie) Wiltshire, Edwin Glenn and Albert Daniels. Nominated and elected for officers for one year term were Jack Kendall, President; Ed Glenn. Vice Pres; George Stotthoff, Sec. and Al Daniels, Treas Prior to these elections a motion was made and passed that the By-Laws of TLT be changed so that the board members were to be elected for one 3-year term of office. Also passed was the recommendation that three pre sent board members who will have served only one term at the end of next season, would be extended for an extra year. These board members are Inky Cloud, Barton (Bart) Stone and George Stotthoff. Finishing their two terms of office at the end of 1980-81 season will be Jack Kendall, Henry (Hank) Coward and Homer Brice. The three retiring board members. Louis (Lou) Pettit, Gustav (Gus) Hoffman and Jane Dalton were given a vote of appreciation by the members. Special thanks were extended to Mrs. Louis (Ellen) Pettit for her four years as the Membership Chairman. Recognition was given to Mrs William (Sunny) Alexander for her 28 years of service to TLT.
