Tyndall is pastor and music will be furnished by the Young Adult Choir. A banquet will be held at 2 p.m. in the lower auditorium. Dr. Kilgore is pastor of the Second Baptist Church in Los Angeles, Ca., and was pastor of Friendship Baptist Church here from 1938 to 1947, and was chaplain at Winston-S Salem State Teacher’s College from 1941 to 1944. He is married to Jeannette M. Scott and they have two daughters. Lynn Elda and Jini Medina. W—Need To Learn From Others. One of the greatest faults or temptations of youth IS the impetuous and impos sible assumption that “we can do everything on our own.” Those who are wisest are those who learn every hour of every day, from reflection on the experiences of others. The Scriptures tell us that a Good Shepherd leads his (or her) sheep,' that he (or she) goes before them. The Good — self-nur tured? Such a person would be a hermaphrodite, a queer crea ture posing as a human beina indeed! When we are in the care of a good family, a good husband or wife, and — better still — of God’s family, the Church, we want for nothing. This is Creation’s plan for our pro vision, for the fulfillment of all our needs, forever. * * * * God’s family is the Church. For each of us the Church is our Father’s house, and so our home.
