PageB4 VWnsftw-Safem Chronicfe Thursday, March 29, 1990 Area Deaths And Funerals MR. HARRY LEE HANES SR. Mr. Harry Lee Hanes Sr. of 1419 E. Third St. died Thursday, March 15, at his home. He was a native of Gastonia County and had moved to Winston-Salem at an early age. He attended Rising Ebenezer Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and church clerk. He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Rosa Lee Eller of Midway, Mrs. Cynthia Crosby, Mrs. Sylvia Boyd and Mrs. Ann Little, all of Win ston-Salem; two sons, Mr. Charles Hanes and Mr. Jerry L. Hanes Sr., both of Winston-Salem; 20 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Mr. Bennie Hanes of Washington and Mr. Taree Hanes of Win ston-Salem; several other relatives and friends. Services were held at 2 p.m on Tuesday, March 20, at Rising Ebenez er Baptist Church, with the Rev. B.J. Milton officiating. Burial followed in Evergreen Cemetery. Clark S. Brown and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of the funeral arrangements. March 23, at her home. She was a native of Florence, S.C,, and had lived in Winston-Salem for more than 50 years. She was a retired employee of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. She was a member of Christ Rescue Temple Apostolic Church, where she was vice president of the Senior Missionary Society, served on the Sunday school and was treasurer of the Missionary. She was the widow of the late Bishop E. Daniels. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Hattie Nettles of Florence, S.C.; sev eral nephews. Bishop Willie Davis of Winston-Salem, Bishop V.I. McCall of Florence, Mr. Samuel Isiaah of Philadelphia, Mr. Elijah Isiaah of Los Angeles and Mr. Harry L. McCall of Brooklyn, N.Y.; several nieces, Ms. Treva Cranshaw of Brooklyn, Ms. Aletha Harrison of Long Island, N.Y., Ms. Hattie Williams of Florence and Ms. Annie Howard of Winston- Salem; several other relatives and friends. Services were held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28, at Christ Res cue Temple Apostolic Church. Burial followed in Evergreen Cemetery. She was a native of Greenville and had lived in Winston- Salem for several years. She was a graduate of J.H. Rose High School in Greenville and graduated from Winston-Salem State University in 1981. She was employed nine years for the United States government. She was an active member of First Baptist Church as a volunteer in the Sunday Nursery Department, the Couples Ministry and the Children's Story Hour. She is survived by her husband, Mr. Oliver Blue; a son, Mr. Brooks Blue of the home; her mother, Mrs. Laura Patterson of Hampton, Va.; a devoted grandmother, Mrs. Aimie Robinson of Greenville; three sisters, Mrs. Denise Williams of New Haven, Conn., Miss Debra Teel of Newport News, Va., and Mrs. Janie Branch of Harrisonburg, Va.; two brothers, Mr. Kevin Patterson of Newport News and Mr. Andre Patterson of Hampton; four aunts; two uncles; several other relatives and friends. Services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 19, at First Bap tist Church, with the Rev. Wendell A. Johnson officiating. Burial followed in Greenwood Cemetery in Greenville. Clark S. Brown and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of the funeral arrangements. Mrs. Mary P. Taylor, 91, of 3901 Glen Oak Drive died Friday, March 23, at Pell Care Nursing Facilities. She was a native of Saluda, S.C., and had lived in Philadelphia before moving to Winston-Sale. She was a member of Penn Memorial Baptist Church and the Royal and Exalted Order of Amaranth, Oziel Court, No. 1, of Pennsylvania. After moving to Winston-Salem, she joined Shiloh Baptist Church, where she was a mem ber of the Galazy Club. She was a retired employee of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. She is survived by Will Taylor; one daughter, Mrs. Jessie L. Rice of the home; several nephews, Mr. Curds Werts of Winston-Salem, Norman Werts and Mr. James E. Werts; several nieces, including Ms. Mae J. Clybum; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several other reladves and friends. Services were held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27, at the Hooper Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. J.R. Hillian officiating. Burial fol lowed in Evergreen Cemetery. RANDOLPH LEONARD BROCKMAN MRS. JUNE WILLIAMS CAMPBELL Mr. Randolph Leonard (Randy) Brockman, 34, died Saturday, March 17, at Oak Lawn Hospital in Illinois. He was the son of the late Charles Brockman and Blondelia Spencer. He was a graduate of East Forsyth High School and attended Forsyth Technical Community College. He is survived by his stepmother, Ms. Betty Brockman of Winston- Salem; his grandmother, Mrs. Fannie Clark of Winston-Salem; his son, Mr. Christopher Brockman, and mother, Ms. Linda Cunningham, both of Adelphi, Md.; two sisters, Ms.' Vickie Spencer of Durham and Ms. Dar lene D. Brown of Springfield, Va.; one great-uncle, Mr. Roy L. Spencer of Winston-Salem; one great-aunt, Ms. Vascilia Barber of Wilkesboro; two uncles, Mr. Roy Speneer of Winston-Salem and Mr. James Spencer of Capitol Heights, Md.; a close friend, Ms. Karen Morrison of Falls Church, Va.; his half-brothers, Mr. Vincent Neil of Burlington and Mr. Shaun Brockman of Winston-Salem. AGNES ISIAAH DANIELS Mrs. Agnes Isiaah Daniels, 87, of 1323 Peachtree St. died Friday, Mrs. June Williams Campbell, 38, of 129 A Charleston Court died Friday, March 23, at Forsyth Memorial Hospital. She was a native of New York City but had spent most of her life in Winston-Salem. She was a reservations agent for US Air. She was a member of Cleveland Avenue Christian Church, where she was chair of the Hospitality Committee. After graduating from Atkins High School, she attended Winston-Salem State University. She was a volunteer cheerleading coach for the Tiny Indians Junior Midget Squad. She is survived by her husband, Mr. Vernard Campbell; two daugh ters, Ms. Tammy M. Williams and Ms. Candice T. Williams; one stepson, Mr. Jack V. Campbell; one stepdaughter, Ms. Villette S. Campbell of Detroit; her mother, Mrs. Alma L. Amos; her stepfather, Mr. George W. Amos; five sisters. Dr. Barbara K. Phillips, Mrs. Constance K. Holland of Bloomington, Ind., Mrs. Jean K. Phillips, Mrs. Nancy G. Armstrong and Mrs. Gretha N. Michael; one niece, Ms. Eleanor E. Phillips; one nephew; Mr. Charles H.
