Capel Signs Two New Players for 1993-94 Basketball Season A Lucas and Bunn sign with A & T basketball Jeff Capel, North Carolina A&Ts new basketball coach, has announced the signing of two play ers tor the 1993-94 season. Larry I ucas and Joe Bunn, both from fc istern North Carolina, are highly regarded plavers. Lucas, a 6'3 guard from Rocky Mount, NC led his team to a 19-7 record that ended in the regional finals. At Rocky Mount Hiph School he averaged 24 points, six rebounds and three assists per game during his senior campaign. Select ed 1st team All-State, Lucas was the most valuable player in the Big East Conference. "Larry is a pure shottftL Sht E" - best in our conference in a long time," said Reggie Henderson, head coach at Rocky Mount High School. "He will be a tremendous asset to a&T's program. CoachXapel made an excellent choice in Larry," Henderson saiid. Bunn, a product of Northern Nash County High School, is a 2nd team All-State selection from Rocky Mount. The 6'6 forward led his team in scoring and rebounding with 23 points and 10.7 rebounds per game.
