Religion Carver Road Church of Christ Features Guest Speaker Reginald B. Dulin, minister of Dallas West Church of Christ in Dallas will be the guest speaker this Sunday at 10 a.m. at Carver Road Church of Christ, located at 4399 Carver School Road. Dulin is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank W. Dulin. ? Pastoral Anniversary True Temple Holiness Church will celebrate the 17th pastoral anniversary of Elder Wallace Gaither July 4-11. Gaither is the founding pastor of the church. He attended Hood Theological Seminary in Salisbury, N.C. He and his wife, Shirley Gaither, own and operate G&G Executive Shop. Guest speakers for the week will be: the Rev. Samuel Cornelius of New Jerusalem Baptist church this Sunday at 4 p.m.; Elder Claude Turner of Calvary Hill Apostolic a Church on Monday at 7:30 p.m.; fl Pastes' Sarah Hauser of Revelations | of Faith Church on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.; Pastor Essie McCollough of New Direction Movement Cathedral on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.; the Rev. Frank Hayes of Nelson Chapel Holiness Church and Bishop Curtis Glaspy of Mt. Carmel Glorious Church on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.; Elder Robert Melton of Gates of Zion Holiness Church on Friday at 7:30 pjn.; and Bishop Joseph Low ery of St. Matthew Apostolic Church on Sunday at 4 p.m. The church is located at 1232 Mint St A Group to Perform Front Line will be in concert tonight at Praise^^nbly Christian Front Line is a contemporary Christian music group from Tulsa, Okla., with a refreshing message of God's love and power. Their music attempts to inspire listeners with a contemporary sound. Front Line is a group of young men and women with a calling io take a radical stand to bring hope to a lost generation. There is no charge for the con cert, but a free-will offering will Jbo collected. For information call 723-1020. A Rainbow Tea The Missionary Department of Galilee Missionary Baptist church, directed by Othella Carter, held its annual Rainbow Tea on June 27. The six missionary circles had guest presenters representing each group. Carrie Vaughn of Morning Star Baptist Church was the guest of the Cora Montgomery Circle. Marie Clybum is president Pat Holiday presented for the Ruth Circle. Cairie Holiday is presi dent Diane Ball presented for the Naomi Circle. Doris Coker is presi dent Kim Austin presented for the youth. Traci Gray is president. Velma McCloud is the advisor. Theretha \yerts presented for the Young Adults. She is president of the group. Carolyn Gray made remarks for the Martha Circle. She is president of the group. Other program participants included Gloria Morgan, Deacon Samuel Shore and Ben Gray. A memorial was held for eight members of the Missionary Depart ment who were funeralized this year George Lyons, Azalee Crump, Edell Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Cleve land Ferguson, Barbara Linton, Nor wood Ford and Thelma Penn. A special presentation was made to Othella Carter in recogni tion of her dedication, service and industriousness on behalf of the Missionary Department Carter gave remarks and made presentations to circles. The Rev. W.C. Hay is pastor emeritus of Galilee. ? Weekly Services Held Bom Again Free Deliverance Tabernacle Church of God the Apostle Faith has planned weekly services. A Prayer and Tarry Service will be held Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. Bible Study will be held Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Missionary Service will be held Friday at 7:30 p.m. Sunday School Bible Study will be held Sunday at 10 a.m. Morning worship is on Sundays at 1 1 a.m. This Sun day will feature "Come Walk with Me in White/' sponsored by the Sis ters of Hope at 6 p.m. The public is invited to all ser vices. The church is located at 741 Morvia St. Apostle Lindsey W. Adams is pastor and overseer. A Graduation Held The Mt. Zion Child Develop ment Center held graduation for 28 preschoolers on June 12 in the File Goodwin Enrichment Center. The theme was "If It Is to Be, It Is Up to Me." Over 250 people attended. Gloria Jones, center supervisor, urged the graduates to set goals and strive to be the best. Reginald Glenn Jr., a 1991 graduate, and Roman Irvin and Reginald Frost, 1992 graduates, gave the welcome and greetings. The 2-year-olds performed "The Busy Ant" song. Betsy Tor rence, a teacher, and Selena Daven port, a resource teacher, assisted. The 3-year-olds sang "He's Got the Whole World" with teacher Christine Lockhart. The 4-year-olds acted out "Lit tle Miss Muffin" with teacher Gail Williams. Debbie Moore, a teacher's aide, assisted all age groups. Parents presented a plaque to Jones in recognition of her dedica tion to the center and students. The center's first yearbook was dedicated to Helen W. Falls, chair man of the Child Development Committee of Mt. Zion. Clark Gaither, vice chairman, received the dedication for Falls, who was not present. Local merchants receiving yearbook sponsorship certificates were: Kelvin Gates, owner of Win ston-Salem Tees Inc.; Harden Richards of Richards Photography and Art Gallery; Annie Hairston of African Imagery Inc.; and Nell Brit ton of Portrait on a Button Inc. Brit ton is the publisher of the yearbook. Several parents were recog nized for their volunteer time and service.
