Crystal Towers Shuffle Board Crystal Towers has a special shuffle board event every Tuesday morning from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. at the Crystal Towers Apart ments . In (he Alumni Tri-City Relays, ages 19-26, 1st place went to Sonny Weaks, Derrick Speas, Pablo Smith and Julive Reese with a time of 43.4 seconds. Sonny Weaks took third place in the 100 meter dash. In the 30-39 year-old divi sion, David Smith took 2nd place 4 in the 400 meter dash with a time of 57.7 seconds. He also took sec ond in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:15.0. Donald Blackman finished fourth in the 100 meter run. In the 60-69 division, Reggie Powell finished 2nd in the 800 meter run and the 1500 meter run. Football and Cheerleader Sign-ups The 1993 Walkertown Wolf peck football and cheerleader sign ups are to be held July 10, 17, 24, and 31, from 10 am until 2 pm at Centura Bank in Walkertown, next o Hardee's.
