Abundant Life Crusade and the Evangelist Ministry was a Big Success
The' Abundant Life Crusade,
under tl>e direction of the Rev.. Dr.
Seth O. Lartey. pastor of Goler
Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church and
the Evangelism Ministry was held at
different sites in this community.
. The first crusades began in
May at Lakeside Community. The
vision was to take the gospel Of
Jesus /Christ into all the world giv
ing each lost soul the opportunity to
hear, to see, and to experience the
love of Christ, at work in us. through
us. and by us. This, we believe shall
be done through seeking to save the
"lost, discipling the, saved and send
ing the believer into the world to be /
an ambassador of Christ, a witness
of Christ, the light an/1 salt of the
earth. The following men of God
came together to spread the world

Cleveland Avenue Homes. The
Evangelist Team did extensive out
reach in the community prior to the

Jesus.

bow Tea fundraiser on Sept. 27 at
the Carl Russell Recreation Center.

to support the upcoming Gateways
Music Festival to be held Oct. 5
until Oct. 11.

Contest to.
The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity
talent contest is recruiting students
to enter the 1.995 talent huntvcon?
test. Music students will be required
,to perform classical solos, with or
without accompanist. The contest
will 'be scheduled for spring 1995
with the details announced at a later
date. '

The winner of the local contest
will represent Psi Phi Chapter at the
Sixth Distract Meeting in April
1995: The local chapter will be the
host for the 50th Anniversary of the
Sixth District, Omega Phi Phi Fra
ternity, Inc.

in Winston-Salem, organized by the
