NCNW holds successful state gathering

The National Council of Negro
Women, Inc. held its State
Coalition meeting on May 31 at the
Rupert Bell Recreation Center in
Winston-Salem.
Attendees received a continen
tal breakfast, lunch and gift bags
filled with keepsakes.
The Winston-Salem Section
tiosted the annual gathering. More
than 100 members attended,
including ones from the Durham,
Charlotte, Fayetteville, Capital
Area/Raleigh,
Northeastern/Elizabeth City and
Alamance/Guilford sections.
We provide job training and placement
so they can bl^y groceries.
