YWCA Launches
New Program
The Charlotte YWCA has
launched a new program to
help young women 16 to 18

Seeking Self-Sufficiency." It
offers up to six months resi
dence at the Y’s Park Road

Project director Katherine

The program will be on a
continuing basis, starting with

been referred to the project
and accepted. Each applicant
will be screened by the project
director. The program will be
extended to 16 women as the
need arises, and as women
complete the program they
will be replaced by new appli

Basic guidelines for partici
