Near San Benite, Tex., a posse set
bloodhounds on the trail of a band
of thieves. When the bloodhounds
bounded up, the thieves caught them,
tied them together by their collars,
hung them over a limb. The pursu
ing posse took down the sad-faced
dogs, again sicked them on the trail.
This time the thieves shot the bloodhounds.
