Weaver of Philadelphia are back for a long sojourn. Mr. and Mrs. William Hughes of Taunton, Mass., come for an extended stay. Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Johnson of Buffalo, return for their annual visit. Mr. George F. Brown of Philadelphia, returns for February. Mr. J. H. Schmuck of Hanover. Pa., and Mr. Percival Schmuck of Mt. Vernon, N. Y will re main several weeks. Mr. Rollln W. Coe of New Haven, Ct , comes for a long sojourn. Mr. L. D. Pierce of Rochester, Vt., returns for the season. Mrs. M. II. Houseman and Miss E. M. House in an of New York, are making a short visit. Mr. Arthur W. Lawrence of Boston, joins Mr. Oscar C. Davis. Mr. and Mrs. W. Goodwin of Fitchburg.Mass., return for February. Dr. G. J. Mckee of Pittsburg, returns for his usual visit. Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Wilson of Pittsburg, will remain until spring. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Aid of Troy, return for their annual visit. Mrs. Henry G. Wolcott and Miss Wolcott of Fishkill on-Iludeon, will remain indefinitely. Miss Catherine Harscn Purdy of New York, joins her mother, Mrs. W. II. Purdy. Mr. H. G. Barbee of Philadelphia, is spending the week end here. Mr. L. H. Dorchester of Scranton, joins Rev. Dr. and Mrs. Dorchester. Amongother arrivals were many who came for the golf tournament. At The Ilerbcblre and Ilarvard. An indoor putting competition was enjoyed at The Berkshire Monday after noon, Mrs. William II. Micou of New York, and Mr. Arthur Curran of North Adams, winning first trophies, and Mrs. II. A. Babcock the consolation. Others who participated were Mr. and Mrs. George T. Dunlap, Mr. and Mrs. B. C. Bixby, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Farrell, Mes daines Cheatham, Nolle, Bliss, Comerais, James, Johnston, the Misses Iiose-Mul-ler, Dunlap, Mercur, and Turtellot, Messrs. Jackson, Micou, Feick, Lord, Babcock, Abbe and Dr. MofBtt. The younger contingent enjoyed a "baby parade" Monday evening, attract ive and infantile misses escorted by youths in grotesque get-up furnishing much amusement to the spectators. Dancing followed. The Misses Dunlap, Kose-Muller, Stump, King and Abbe wore dainty white gowns and silk sashes, flowing hair tied with coquettish knots of bright ribbon. Miss Adams provoked much laughter in a costume topped by a short flamed color jacket and yellow straw hat loaded with vari ous blossoms. Mr. William Micou and Mr. Harry Abbe were a ridiculous pair. Mr. Micou wore a short white "baby" dress, red stockings, red hat and a mass of wonderful brown curls. Mr Abbe was a "child" golfer, with velveteen trous ers, wide collar, flowing tie, and tiny white straw sailor. He carried a golf stick and his partner made melody with a harmonica. Others who "paraded' were Messrs. Nolle, Somerville, Feick, Curran and Beardsley. Mrs. M. E. Schell of Detroit and Mrs. C. 11. Somerville of London, entertained the Tuesday evening bridge players at The Harvard. Miss Mary Adams of Springfield, Miss Kose-Muller of To waudo, Miss Litchfield of Amesbury, and Mr. and Mrs. II. ii. Bliss of Janes ville, Wis., won prizes. Others who participated were Mr. and Mrs. B. C. Bixby, Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Abbe, Mr. and Mrs. jhilo S. Clark, Mr. and Mrs. George T. Dunlap, Mrs. Paul Johnston, Dr. 11. II. Moffitt, Mrs. Charles W. James, Mrs. Nancy Helm, Mrs. E. C. Comerais, Misses Hunt and Mr. R. II. Hunt, Misses Chambers, Stump, Dunlap, and Turtellot, and Messrs. C. 1?. Somer ville and C. Feick. A pleasant innovation at the usual Tuesday afternoon tea this week was the presence of the gentlemen, llev. T. A. Cheatham entertained with a sympa thetic reading of "Tom's Last Forage", a little story which reveals the loyal side of the darky nature. AMONG THE GUESTS. Mr. and Mrs. J. II. Cowles, Mrs. II. E. Beards ley and Mr. II. L. Beardsley of Waterbury, Ct., plan an indefinite stay. Mr. Charles Feick of Baltimore, joins Mr. II. L. Beardsley,. Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Farrell and child of Hart ford, will remain until Spring. Mr. H. P. Waller and Mr. George W. Walsh of Chicago, are completing a short visit. Mr. and Mrs. II. A. Babcock of Brooklyn will remain indefinitely. Mr. W. L. Jackson of New York, joins Mr. William C. Micou. Mr. J. A. Carpenter and Mr. J. Winterbotham of Chicago, are here for a week's shooting. Mrs. Wm. G. Hoople and Mr. and Mrs. A. I, Nichols and child of Brooklyn, are spending a fortnight here. Mr. and Mrs. H. Lehman of New York, will remain indefinitely. At The Mag-nolla. Mr. and Mrs. George W. Alden and the Misses Margery and Priscilla Alden of Brock ton, are hre for a six weeks sojourn. Mr. and Mrs. Frank W. Holmes and Miss Helen Holmes of Mt. Vernon, will remain indefinitely; Mr. Holmes a golf enthusiast, Mr. F. II. Boardman joins Mrs. Boardman. SILVER FOILS' FiUST. Medal Handicap Will Open Tourna ment Program on Monday, 31 ext.
